Qualifications

• Previous orthodontic/dental experience preferred.
• Treatment coordinating experience highly desirable.
• X-ray certification through DANB or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable discussing financial arrangements and payment options.
• Organized, detail-oriented, multitasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
• Proficient with computers and dental practice management software.
• Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and create a warm, positive first impression.
• Coordinate new patient consultations from start to finish.
• Collect initial records.
• Educate patients and families about orthodontic treatment options (braces and Invisalign).
• Review treatment recommendations with the orthodontist.
• Present financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and payment options.
• Help patients move forward with treatment confidently.
• Coordinate same-day treatment starts where possible.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow up with pending patients to address questions and encourage acceptance.
• Build relationships with referring dental offices and maintain communication.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
