Job summary

Orthodontic Experts is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to support patients through their orthodontic journey. You will explain treatment plans, address questions, and help set up scheduling and payment arrangements while coordinating financial discussions for new and existing patients.

You will manage payment options, educate on benefits, and maintain patient accounts. Roles may require travel to sister clinics and coverage across our Indiana locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of sales experience.
• 1 year of Treatment Coordinating experience.
• Knowledge of medical terms and practices.
• Excellent problem solving and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual - Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to understand their history, concerns, and objectives.
• Explain treatment plans and address patient questions.
• Assist in prioritizing treatment and scheduling/payment planning.
• Conduct financial consultations with new and existing patients.
• Manage payment options and policies for patients.
• Educate patients on dental benefits and Ortho financing options.
• Track patient accounts receivable and outstanding balances.
• Support clinic travel to sister clinics as needed.
• Greet and check patients in/out before/after treatment.
• Travel to Homewood, Merrillville, and Portage clinics for coverage.
