NBC Orthodontics Incorporated in Georgetown, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator to join a growing team. You will navigate patient coverage, verify eligibility, and communicate treatment estimates to families, all while supporting front desk operations in a fast-paced dental practice.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of dental insurance coordination experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Dolphin or Orthotrac.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dental or orthodontic insurance coordination experience.
• Familiar with dental/orthodontic insurance billing, CDT codes, and EOBs.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients and carriers.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, patient-centered environment.
• Positive, professional demeanor with a commitment to exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process orthodontic insurance benefits, eligibility, and authorizations for new and existing patients
• Submit and follow up on insurance claims, appeals, and predeterminations in a timely manner
• Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Communicate insurance breakdowns and treatment financial estimates to patients and families
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and outstanding balances
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of orthodontic billing codes (CDT) and insurance plan requirements
• Support front office team with scheduling, patient check-in, and financial consultations as needed
