Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join a kid-friendly team. You will support orthodontists during patient visits, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and help ensure a smooth, positive experience for young patients.

Candidates with X-ray and CPR certification and prior orthodontic exposure are preferred; we offer training for the right person and opportunities for growth within a pediatric specialty DS0 network.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice preferred, but we will train the right person
• Additional certification or training is a plus
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a kid-friendly environment.

Requirements

• X-ray and CPR certification is required

Schedule

• Some Saturdays may be required
• Daytime hours - No nights!
