Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who loves working with kids. The role supports orthodontists, prepares rooms, takes X-rays, and helps with patient education and scheduling.

This full-time position requires X-ray and CPR certification and offers a friendly, team-focused environment with benefits. Ideal candidates have 1 year in an ortho setting and are eager to grow with a pediatric-focused practice.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but training is available.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a kid-friendly environment.

Requirements

• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.

Schedule

• Some Saturdays may be required
• Daytime hours – No nights!
