Job summary

TRIA is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our orthopedic team. This role greets patients, collects co-pays, and schedules follow-ups and referrals while supporting clerical tasks in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

This position is part of TRIA Urgent Care operations, with 8-hour shifts across a 7-day schedule, requiring strong communication and confidentiality with patients and families.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience.
• Some medical background preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Human relations sensitivity and customer service skills.
• Listening and telephone etiquette skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge desirable.
• Ability to collect copays and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in at the medical desk.
