Job summary

Stryker in New London, CT is seeking an Upper Extremities Sales Associate to collaborate with Sales Representatives, attend surgeries, and promote Stryker products within the territory. You will educate clinical staff, identify opportunities, and support inventory and orders.

Role requires learning the field through training, building customer relationships, and contributing to sales growth with adherence to compliance standards across healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent medical certification.
• Associate’s degree or Medical Certification plus at least 2 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma plus at least 4 years of related experience.
• 4+ years of active duty military service.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and Upper Extremities business.
• Attend surgeries to ensure products are available and instruct surgeons on use.
• Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on product use, maintenance, and updates.
• Work with sales teams to identify opportunities, deliver customer service, and grow relationships.
• Identify needs of new prospects with the assigned Sales Representative and respond accordingly.
• Tailor promotional messages post-training based on customer knowledge and product differences.
• Perform field calls and assist in new sales plans and marketing strategies to meet quotas.
• Serve as backup contact for Sales Representatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
