Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and provide surgical information to patients.
• Maintain and update the physician’s schedule and confirm appointments.
• Verify insurance, obtain testing and surgical authorizations, and perform coding.
• Ensure all equipment, labs, and clearances are ordered and communicated with a treatment plan.
• Ensure physicians have all required documentation for surgery.
• Handle requests for medical information between departments, hospitals, and centers.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure coordinated patient services across the clinic.
• Remain compliant with state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
• Adapt to changes positively and perform other duties as assigned.
