Job summary

OrthoAlliance, part of SCA Health, seeks a versatile administrator to support scheduling, patient intake and care coordination in a busy ambulatory setting. You’ll collaborate with physicians, clinics and allied staff to ensure timely, accurate documentation and patient flow.

Responsibilities include pre-op scheduling, medical assisting tasks, outreach to schools and athletic programs, and maintaining supplies. This role emphasizes compliance with OSHA and reliable calendar management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year scheduling experience in ambulatory surgery facility, acute-care hospital, or doctor’s office.
• Attendance, punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-op scheduling with patients, educate on locations, times and logistics.
• Coordinate with ASC and hospitals; arrange follow-up scheduling and physical therapy appointments.
• Assist with casting, wound checks, dressing changes, patient intake and flow.
• Support physician with calendar management, travel and presentation tasks.
• Coordinate outreach to colleges, high schools, PCP teams and athletes.
• Serve as contact for trainers, coaches and athletes.
• Coordinate marketing needs with Director of Marketing.
• Maintain office and medical supplies inventory.
• Assist with physical therapy requests, leave and school notes.
• Ensure OSHA biohazard disposal compliance.
• Facilitate scheduling outpatient testing and pre-certification.
• Other duties as assigned.
