Job summary

Surgery Partners in Texas seeks an Orthopedic Spine Surgical Coordinator to guide patients through the full surgical journey, coordinating all steps from initial scheduling to post-operative follow-up. You will serve as the primary liaison among patients, surgeons, hospitals, and clinical staff to ensure a seamless experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented, with experience in orthopedic spine or related specialties preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in surgical coordination or related clinical settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of the orthopedic spine surgical process from scheduling to post-operative follow-up.
• Act as liaison among patients, surgeons, hospitals, centers, vendors, and clinical staff to ensure seamless care.
• Obtain payer authorizations and ensure medical documentation and approvals are complete and accurate.
• Maintain calendars, improve workflow, and support quality, growth, and operational excellence.
