Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for North Tower 4 in Chicago, IL. The unit handles joint replacements, trauma patients and related orthopedic and urological care, with Advanced Certification for Hip and Knee Replacements.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants with >1 year of RN experience. The role requires BLS within 30 days, Illinois RN licensure, and teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care on a 41-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois with active license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on NT4 for joints, trauma, and related services.
• Perform assessments and develop care plans.
• Document nursing care accurately in the medical record.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff for patient care.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and mobility.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Hip/Knee program requirements.
