Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for North Tower 4 on a 41-bed unit. The unit handles total joint replacements and complex trauma, with Advanced Certification for Hip and Knee Replacements. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants with >1 year of experience and a 3-year commitment.

The role involves comprehensive nursing care, coordination with physicians, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma and an Associate's Degree required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (IDFPR) with RN >1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care provided to assure coordination with the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Monitors safety and communicates with colleagues to resolve issues.
