Job summary

Carle Health is hiring an RN for North Tower 4 on a 41-bed unit. The role features a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants with a >1 year commitment and a 3-year term. Requires BLS, Illinois RN license and nursing diploma/associate degree.

The unit handles joint replacements, trauma and urology cases with a focus on quality patient care. Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, safety, wound care education and coordination with surgeons.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois (or eligibility)
• Nursing Diploma or higher
• 1+ year of RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs unit-specific nursing duties per scope of service.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan.
• Coordinates with physicians and staff; educates patients on wound care, mobility and discharge needs.
