Summit Health seeks a Medical Assistant (MA) to support physicians, PAs, and NPs with clerical duties, patient flow, and direct patient care. The role spans room preparation, vital signs, documentation in EHR, and coordination of appointments across satellite offices.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, completed MA or phlebotomy training, and BLS certification, with 0–4 years of experience and strong communication skills in English.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, required.
• 0-1 year related work experience, required.
• 2-4 years related work experience, preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire, required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, required.
• Basic proficiency in computer use, required.
• Travel: Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed, required.
• Pay Range: $22.02 - $27.07 Hourly

Responsabilidades

• Prepares the examination room and escorts patient into the room.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and ensures proper preparation for visits.
• Documents in EHR and reviews medication lists and allergies.
• Performs vital signs and assists with exams and procedures.
• Schedules appointments and manages routine communications.
• Orders and maintains supplies, and assists with transitions of care.
• Provides scribing services and adheres to safety precautions.
• All other duties as assigned.
