Summit Health Management is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, or NPs. The role focuses on exam room preparation, patient flow, and accurate documentation in EHR and PMS systems.

You will handle vital signs, allergies, and medication lists while maintaining a safe, supportive patient care environment across satellite offices. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, and 0-1 year experience (2-4 preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program required.
• 0-1 year related work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire required.
• English communication skills required; able to organize and perform multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room and escort patient into room.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and accurate patient preparation.
• Record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, height, weight) in EHR.
• Update medication lists and allergies in EHR; document accurately.
• Enter orders and schedule appointments in PMS and EHR.
• Provide referrals and/or consult orders as needed in system.
• Adhere to universal safety precautions when handling medications.
