Job summary

Summit Health Management seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced practitioners. You will handle patient flow, room preparation, documentation in the EHR, and routine clerical duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate will have an MA or phlebotomy program, BLS, and strong English communication. This full-time role supports multiple satellite sites and requires flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, required.
• 0-1 year related work experience, required.
• 2-4 years related work experience, preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire, required
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, required
• Basic proficiency in computer use, required

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms and patient flow.
• Assists physicians and APPs with patient care and procedures.
• Maintains supplies and equipment, and documents in EHR.
• Schedules appointments and manages referrals.
• Ensures safety and compliance with universal precautions.
• Demonstrates flexibility with various work schedules.
