Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care on the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinate with a diverse health team, and support families.

An ASN/ADN holder must obtain a BSN within four years of hire unless they have 15+ years of RN experience in an acute setting. Current RN license and BLS-HCP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• An ASN/ADN holder must obtain a BSN within four years of hire unless they have 15+ years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in the practicing state is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS-HCP certification either at hire or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with the health team and family.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines and documentation.
