Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, using the nursing process, technology, and evidence-based practice.

The role includes supervising LPNs/CNAs, participating in clinical rounds, and ensuring compliance with guidelines. A BSN within four years (or exemption with 15+ years acute care) is required along with an active RN license and

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Must obtain BSN within four years from hire unless exempt due to 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification within 60 days of hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with health team members and oversee care delivered by LPNs/CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences and follow hospital policies.
• Communicate compassionately with patients and their families.
