Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice and teamwork.

The role includes supervising LPNs/CNAs, coordinating care with the team, and ensuring adherence to guidelines. A BSN requirement timeline applies if starting with ASN/ADN.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless 15 years RN experience in acute care.
• Exemptions apply for certain facilities per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs.
• Coordinate care with the health team.
• Follow evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Communicate compassionately with patients and families.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
