Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.

The role involves assessing and planning care, collaborating with the health team, and ensuring evidence-based practice while maintaining patient- and family-centered care. The unit supports new grads and experienced nurses, with opportunities for leadership, preceptorship, and involvement in committees.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN holders must complete a BSN within four years or have 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required; BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Coordinate with health team members to ensure quality care.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs/CNAs and participate in clinical conferences.
• Follow hospital policies, guidelines, and documentation requirements.

Education

ASN/ADN with BSN in four years if employed
