Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The unit focuses on 8 Med/Surg with diverse medical and surgical care, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous learning.

You will assess patient needs, implement care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while supporting patient and family involvement. Evening and weekend shifts with growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless 15+ years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate per unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher

ASN/ADN degree with BSN requirement within 4 years
