Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care on the 8 Med/Surg unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care with strong teamwork and evidence-based practice. Requirements include an accredited nursing degree and state RN licensure; ASN/ADN must pursue BSN within four years unless exempt by years of RN acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN degree holders must obtain a BSN within four years of hire unless they have 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with the health team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
