Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS / O&M Specialist) for a part-time, school-based role in Houston. The position involves direct services to students with visual impairments, plus attending ARD meetings and consulting with school staff.

In-person therapy and evaluations are performed at the school, while reports can be completed at home. Hybrid arrangement accommodates both on-site and remote reporting, with a manageable caseload

Job description

Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS / O&M Specialist) job for a part time position providing services to qualifying students with visual impairments, attending ARD meetings, and consulting with school staff.

This job is in person at a school in Houston, TX (77012). This is a hybrid position, therapy and evaluations are completed in person and reports can be done at home. The caseload includes 1 or 2 times a month direct services and 1 time a month consultation.
