Job summary

Flatrock is seeking an Orientation Associate to welcome new hires, introduce them to our culture and values, and equip them with the knowledge and tools to thrive from day one.

You will serve as the friendly face during onboarding, manage new hire folders, and coordinate training dates while ensuring a positive first experience that supports engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Experience in HR onboarding or recruiting preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified Direct Care Worker (DCW) candidates
• Create and maintain new hire folders with accurate and organized documentation
• Build new hire rosters that include training dates and important background information
• Complete required background checks, including ICHAT, OIG, and SAM screenings
• Become a Certified CPR Instructor to teach CPR classes and help employees build essential safety skills
• Serve as a key resource throughout the onboarding process and help new employees feel connected to the Flatrock Family
