Job summary

LifeLink Foundation in Tampa, FL is seeking a Surgical Coordinator 1 to support life-saving organ recovery efforts. This on-site role partners with surgeons and OR teams to coordinate and perform designated aspects of organ recovery, preservation, and packaging.

You will provide on-call coverage, assist with sterile technique, set up the OR, ensure proper labeling and chain of custody, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• EMT, CST, CTP, or AATB certification, or the ability to obtain CTP certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate organ recovery, preservation, and packaging per LifeLink policies.
• Provide on-call coverage for deceased donor procurement and related activities.
• Assist OR staff and maintain sterile technique and proper instrument use.
• Prepare OR for recovery procedures and ensure proper labeling and chain of custody.
• Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance throughout organ recovery.

Education
