Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience.
• ITAR facility; applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders, order changes, forecasts and price lists into the Operational Control System and Support Systems; update data and manage related forms (PEX).
• Manage the order confirmation process and communicate with the customer about partial shipment approvals.
• Reschedule orders (backlog) and update backlog issue logs.
• Request internal plant approvals for ordering and forecasting changes.
• Maintain form parameters in Oracle; print and send PM instructions and collect signatures on forms.
• Understand the importance of order processing as a subscription/delivery process.
• Adapt to the defined processes and workflows.
• Track critical work orders (production or RMAs).
• Validate, load and modify purchase orders.

Job Title

Order Processing Support - 5A (Monday-Friday)

Job Purpose

Processes orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information. Provides price quotations, completes order sheets, and checks the price and quantity of each item. Distributes order sheets to respective departments. Coordinates with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.
