Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Madison, WI. You will support customers and sales reps by processing custom orders, providing quotes, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with Engineering and Warehouse Operations.
New hires begin as Order Processing Representatives, gaining hands-on experience during a comprehensive 12-week training program on-site in Waunakee.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service, order entry, or related experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Ability to learn technical products and apply analytical thinking
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Process and enter customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide sales support to customers and outside sales representatives
- Prepare quotes and assist with order management activities
- Expedite orders and coordinate updates with customers
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and resolve service-related issues
- Collaborate with Engineering, Warehouse, and other internal departments
- Maintain detailed customer records in SAP and other business systems
- Communicate professionally via phone, email, and internal platforms
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions
