Fairfield Chair in Lenoir, NC is seeking a full-time Customer Service/Order Entry specialist to manage orders from customers and sales reps, track them in Excel, and communicate issues by email.

You will coordinate with Traffic/Shipping, learn the product line, and excel in a fast-paced open-office environment, handling high call volumes with strong organizational skills. The role emphasizes accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively by phone or writing in a professional manner.
• Able to perform moderately difficult math calculations.
• Handle large call volumes efficiently and promptly.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; basic AS400 knowledge.
• Read/write in English with good interpersonal and oral skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all orders from customers and sales reps once acknowledged.
• Track orders in a select territory using an Excel spreadsheet.
• Communicate issues on orders with customers or reps by email.
• Resolve order-related disputes prior to shipping with problem-solving.
• Coordinate shipping dates with Traffic/Shipping to meet install dates.
• Mainly email communication; occasional calls from sales reps and customers.
• Learn or know the product line to answer questions accurately.
• Work in an open office atmosphere with team collaboration.
