Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an organized professional to accurately enter customer orders and manage data in JD Edwards and portals. You will serve as the go-to for order status inquiries, expedite requests, and delivery updates, while coordinating changes with planning and production.

You will proactively communicate delays, record discrepancies, and support cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MRP/ERP experience, JD Edwards a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to perform repetitious work with high attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical procedures or operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing operations and process flows
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in the aerospace industry or related manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders and maintain related data in JD Edwards and customer portals.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer order status inquiries, expedite requests and delivery updates.
• Proactively communicate delays or issues to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain relationships.
• Process order changes in coordination with planning and production.
• Record contractual discrepancies in the customer portal and ensure timely resolution.
• Cross functional support with production/shipping to issue purchase orders to outside processors and track deliveries.
• Prepare shipping and compliance documentation as required.
• Print work orders for distribution to the production floor.
• Complete work orders focusing on data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Support cycle counts or physical inventory as needed.
• Assist team with administrative tasks as required.
• Participate in process improvement to enhance order management, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Track and report KPI’s such as On-Time Delivery and backlog status.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for missed targets.
