Job summary

MIRATECH Corporation in Houston, TX, seeks an Order Expeditor to maintain visibility on open customer orders and coordinate with internal teams to remove obstacles to on-time delivery. You will monitor orders from entry to shipment and support production flow to improve delivery performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, logistics, production planning, or order management.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing with changing priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with ERP/MRP or production tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open customer orders from entry through shipment, tracking status and readiness.
• Coordinate daily with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Quality, CS, and Shipping to identify risks.
• Expedite materials, documentation, orders, and approvals to meet delivery commitments.
• Review priorities and schedules to determine escalation needs.
• Provide timely order status updates and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Investigate shortages or delays with Purchasing and Inventory Control.
• Support production leads to confirm progress and recover schedules.
• Assist Shipping to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate order tracking and performance metrics.
• Escalate critical issues to management when commitments are at risk.
• Participate in reviews to provide updates on high-priority orders and risks.
