• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quotations, Sales, Shipping and Logistics to support satisfaction and fulfillment.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly by identifying solutions and following up.

Job Summary

A growing manufacturing organization in Cypress, CA is seeking an Order Entry Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented order management professional with high-volume order entry experience, strong ERP skills, and the ability to manage customer orders from start to finish. The Order Entry Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, helping ensure accurate order processing, timely communication, and a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Enter a high volume of purchase orders into the ERP system accurately and efficiently.
• Manage the full order management lifecycle, including changes, adjustments, cancellations, credits, and return authorizations.
• Provide customers with product pricing, availability, and lead time information within established guidelines.
• Support a portfolio of domestic and/or international customer accounts while maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quotations, Sales, Shipping, and Logistics to support customer satisfaction and order fulfillment.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly by identifying solutions, following up, and ensuring complete resolution.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $48,600 to $52,300 per year.
• Pay is DOE.
• Temp-to-hire opportunity.
• 100% in-office position.
• Location: Cypress, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage high-volume order entry and purchase order processing in an ERP system.
• Support customer order management from cradle to grave.
• Coordinate order changes, credits, returns, cancellations, and fulfillment updates.
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely customer support.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant order entry, customer service, order management, or order processing experience.
• Full understanding of the order management lifecycle.
• Experience working in an ERP system is required.
• Strong data entry accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to review and identify complex order documents, terms and conditions, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer concerns professionally and quickly.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting domestic and international customer accounts.
• Experience assisting Shipping and Logistics teams with order fulfillment.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial customer service environment.
• Familiarity with ISO procedures or quality-driven operating environments.
