Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry / Order Processing specialist in Irving, TX to manage customer orders from entry to fulfillment. You will verify details, coordinate with sales/shipping/warehouse, and maintain accurate records while handling invoicing and reporting duties.

The ideal candidate has solid data-entry skills, familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, and excellent communication abilities to support a fast-paced environment and high-volume order flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in data entry, order processing, or administrative support is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer proficiency including typing and 10-key skills.
• Familiarity with order management software and CRM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, for customer interactions.
• Organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by entering into the ERP/order management system from multiple channels.
• Verify order details for pricing, product codes, and quantities.
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, accounting, and warehouse teams to confirm inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide timely customer and sales inquiries responses on order status and availability.
• Maintain data integrity in customer records and sales data.
• Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and status reports.
• Troubleshoot order issues, changes, cancellations, or delays and escalate when needed.
