Job summary
Rust-Oleum in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking an Order and Data Entry Representative to accurately review, enter, and verify customer and sales orders in SAP and related systems. You will ensure on-time deliveries by checking order details, pricing, inventory, and notes, while maintaining strong attention to detail and effective communication with other departments.
The role requires 10-key data entry, prior order entry/customer service experience, and proficiency with Excel/Word; SAP is a plus.

- Basic understanding of Excel and Word; SAP a plus

Responsibilities
- Identify appropriate customer account number before entering orders
- Enter manual orders into SAP within 24 hours of receipt
- Respond to requests noting discrepancies or problems with orders
- Provide pricing or documents for corrections
- Note corrections clearly in order for pricing/CS teams
- Verify customer name, address, billing info and product specs in orders
- Check inventory records for availability
- Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders
- Receive and respond to customer complaints
