Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking an Order and Data Entry Rep in Vernon Hills, IL to review, verify and enter customer and sales rep orders into the SAP system with speed and accuracy.

You will confirm customer details, check pricing, and communicate with pricing and CS teams to resolve discrepancies. The role requires 10-key by touch, attention to detail and teamwork.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package after probation.

Qualifications

• 10-key by touch is required.
• Prior order entry / customer service experience.
• Basic Excel and Word; SAP a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work with urgency.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Identify appropriate customer account number before entering orders.
• Enter manual orders into SAP within 24 hours of receipt.
• Respond to requests identifying discrepancies or problems related to orders.
• Provide pricing or CS documents needed for correction.
• Note corrections clearly for pricing team or CS rep.
• Verify customer name, address, and billing information; confirm product numbers and specs.
• Check inventory records for availability of items.
• Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders for processing.
• Respond to customer complaints.
