Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a temporary customer service professional in Cary, IL to manage orders from receipt through fulfillment. This role acts as theBridge between customers and internal teams to ensure accurate processing and timely communication throughout the order lifecycle.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders for completeness, coordinating modifications, and handling returns while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in customer service or order management preferred.
• Experience with ERP or order management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
• Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately from receipt to fulfillment.
• Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, product availability, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate order modifications, cancellations, returns, and credits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and service level expectations.
• Investigate and resolve order-related issues to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding orders, products, pricing, and delivery status.
