The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support wholesale and retail customers at Store #3417 in Wood Dale, IL and 20% time at Elmhurst and Northlake locations. The role emphasizes helping customers, answering questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and driving sales while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: rating at least "meets expectations" (3).
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build productive trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products as needed to customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist with deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
