Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Goleta, CA to act as the face of the company with customers while managing orders. The role involves entering orders, responding to inquiries, coordinating with scheduling and shipping, and facilitating intercompany orders globally.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in a Customer Service/Inside Sales role.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP ERP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond quickly with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and ensure PO information is complete.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain / Scheduling to set ship dates.
• Enter orders in ERP and issue all related documents.
• Communicate special requests and obtain shipping details.
• Track orders, expedite when needed and communicate updates.
• Support sales professionals and represent customers in scheduling meetings.
• Facilitate intercompany ordering and improve order-entry processes.
