MANN+HUMMEL Water Filtration Systems in Goleta, CA is seeking a Customer Service Representative. This onsite role acts as the face of the company, managing customer orders, answering calls, and coordinating with scheduling and shipping to meet order needs.

You will enter orders in ERP, issue documents, track shipments, and communicate updates to customers. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in customer service or inside sales, strong English, and a detail-oriented, multitasking mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage customer orders and ensure PO information is complete.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain/Scheduling to set ship dates.
• Enter orders in ERP and issue order confirmations and shipping documents.
• Communicate special requests and obtain shipping details and quotes.
• Track orders, expedite when needed, and relay updates to customers.
• Support sales professionals and represent customers in scheduling meetings.
• Facilitate global intercompany ordering and improve order processes.

This is an Onsite position based at our location in Goleta, CA.

The Customer Service Representative is a critical role acting as the “face of MANN+HUMMEL Water Filtration Systems” with customers while managing every customer order. A person with great energy and attention to detail is required to manage all the unique aspects of customer orders and the specific requests made by customers. In addition to entering orders and responding to customer calls and inquiries, this individual works with scheduling and shipping internally to meet customer order needs, provides communications to customers regarding their orders, and facilitates intercompany orders globally. Additional responsibilities of this role include representing customers at scheduling meetings, helping to coordinate both domestic and international shipments, and assisting with improving the local order entry process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer orders
• Ensure purchase order information from customer is complete
• Work with Supply Chain / Scheduling to communicate order details and set ship dates
• Enter customer orders in ERP system
• Issue all documents relevant to the Sales process (Order Confirmation, shipping documents, invoices, pro-forma invoices)
• Communicate special requests
• Obtain shipping details and freight quotes
• Track customer orders and facilitate expediting if required
• Communicate order updates to sellers and/or customers
• Send shipment confirmation to sellers and customers within 24 hours of shipment
• Respond to customer requests
• Support sales professionals when requested
• Represent customers at scheduling meetings
• Facilitate the global intercompany ordering process
• Document and improve order management process and associated work instructions
• Document and track customer pricing and regular customer requests
• Working with a cross-functional team, develop recommendations and help to implement processes and programs to improve on time deliveries to 95%
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

3-5 years prior experience in a Customer Service/Inside Sales role

Required Skills:

Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong English communication and presentation skills

Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, respond to customer needs quickly, and manage time effectively
