Job summary

Brenntag in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver a positive customer experience through timely communication and accurate processing of orders. You will manage the full order life cycle, coordinate with sales, and ensure compliance with pricing and shipping details.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service or similar discipline.
• Must be able to problem solve, work independently, and demonstrate strong listening, speaking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/CRM systems, and team collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and manage full order life cycle.
• Communicate order changes to customers via phone, email or EDI.
• Verify shipping, billing, pricing, and purchase order information.
• Enter special instructions, update customer files, and support sales staff.
• Audit purchase orders for pricing, quantity, terms, and ETA.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and document resolutions.
• Handle returns per procedures and ensure policy compliance.
