Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking an Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Architect to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Oracle HCM professional to bridge business requirements with technical architecture — designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle HCM Cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
In this role, you'll lead end-to-end solution design across core HCM modules, drive integrations with third-party systems, and partner directly with HR leadership to shape the organization's HCM transformation strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, etc.)
- Define scalable architecture frameworks and best practices; translate business needs into functional and technical solutions; provide architectural governance and design approvals
- Apply hands-on expertise in Data Loads, Fast Formulas, BI Reporting, and HCM functionality
- Partner with business stakeholders to drive requirement gathering, solution design workshops, and functional specifications
- Provide guidance on Oracle HCM best practices and product capabilities
- Lead full lifecycle implementations and enhancements
- Configure Oracle HCM modules and lead technical development
- Ensure high-quality deliverables within timelines
- Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities
- Design and oversee integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, HDL (HCM Data Loader), and REST/SOAP APIs
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems (Payroll, Benefits vendors, Identity systems)
- Design reporting strategy leveraging OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts
- Deliver dashboards and analytics aligned with business KPIs
- Engage with HR leadership and stakeholders; communicate architecture decisions and risks; provide strategic recommendations for HCM transformation
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, HR, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementations
- Experience as a solution/technical architect
- Strong knowledge of HCM business processes (Hire-to-Retire lifecycle), including Core HR, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, and Absence
- Payroll experience (US, UK, or global payroll exposure preferred)
- Experience with Recruiting (ORC) and Learning modules
- Technical proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Data Loader (HDL) or HCM Extracts, Fast Formula, BI Publisher or OTBI, REST & SOAP APIs, and SQL/data modeling
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and cloud architecture design principles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
