Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Lead in Houston to drive functional leadership across the HCM landscape. You will own design, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption, ensuring solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 8+ years in HR technology, 5+ years with Oracle HCM Cloud, and strong collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable HR solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in HR technology or HRIS functional roles.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Strong functional expertise across Core HR, Compensation, Absence Management and Talent Management.
• Experience leading Oracle HCM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or major enhancements.
• Knowledge of Oracle HCM security, workflows, approvals, eligibility profiles, and fast formulas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
• Own the functional roadmap for Core HR, Compensation, Absence, and Talent.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle HCM solutions.
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution workshops, process mapping, and functional design sessions.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, process documentation, and training materials.
• Manage end-to-end testing activities, including unit, system integration, regression, user acceptance, and production validation testing.
• Support data conversion, integrations, reporting, and downstream system impacts.
• Partner with technical teams on integrations, fast formulas, HDL, reporting, and security requirements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate HR processes.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate defect resolution.
• Manage relationships with business stakeholders and third-party implementation or support partners.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, data privacy requirements, and applicable employment regulations.
• Lead change management, communication, and end-user adoption activities.
• Mentor functional analysts and contribute to the development of HCM delivery standards.
