Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a proactive Business Analyst (Oracle CPQ) to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather and transform product requirements into robust CPQ configurations while using modern AI tools to streamline drafting, testing, and workflow optimization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product Owners, Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate configuration rules and a seamless orderability UX within Oracle CPQ.

Qualifications

• Technical understanding or hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Prior experience with Oracle Enterprise Applications (Oracle CPQ, EBS, or CPQ Admin features).
• Background in the Telecommunications domain is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements and creating functional specifications for Oracle CPQ.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini) for writing requirements and generating test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of Bills of Materials (Oracle ERP) and rule-based configuration models.
• Experience creating business process models to clearly describe requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manage requirements, translating them into detailed technical specs for Oracle CPQ.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini) to accelerate documentation and generate test scenarios.
• Ensure product configurations in Oracle CPQ are defect-free and orderable.
• Simplify BOMs and rule logic in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.
• Drive portfolio optimization through SKU reduction and catalog simplification.
• Coordinate with factory and supply chain to verify configuration rules and smooth order processing.
• Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts to verify BOMs and rule changes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure ERP/CRM implementations meet business needs.
