Job summary

Western Alliance Bank seeks a Principal Engineer I - Oracle Lead to provide SME expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM. You will drive large, complex design tasks, refine requirements with sponsors, and mentor junior engineers, delivering robust, compliant solutions across IT and business teams.

You will collaborate with architecture and product teams to ensure reuse, proper documentation, and effective delivery of upgrades and enhancements to critical banking applications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience especially with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM applications.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
• Familiar with regulatory and banking compliance obligations and governance.
• Strong communication skills for IT audiences and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM and adjacent domains.
• Lead complex design tasks and refine requirements with sponsors.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop team skills.
• Build solution designs and ensure reuse and quality designs.
• Create comprehensive documentation including data and process flows.
• Collaborate with architecture, product teams, and IT for delivery and upgrades.
• Develop dashboards and perform issue troubleshooting with IT teams.
