Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Principal Engineer I - Oracle Lead to provide SME expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM. You will guide design, collaborate with business sponsors, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring secure, compliant and reliable solutions.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build architecture documents, and deliver scalable implementations within a banking context, including audits and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM.
• Bachelor's degree required; Masters/MBA preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Services or Banking preferred.
• Familiar with regulatory/compliance obligations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Build solution designs for handoff to engineers and ensure reuse of platforms.
• Review technical plans to ensure high-quality designs aligning with goals.
• Develop dashboards providing performance insights for key applications.
• Document system architectures and data flows with cross-functional teams.
• Lead with business partners, developers, and analysts to deliver effective solutions.
