Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital seeks a Manager of Surgical Services for the Main OR in Charlottesville, VA. You will oversee operations to ensure safe, high‑quality perioperative care and mentor staff to meet surgeon expectations and organizational goals.

The role requires an RN with BSN (MSN preferred) and 3+ years in acute care and OR scrub/circulation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and market‑competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3 years of acute care RN experience required.
• 3 years of scrub and circulator experience in an OR required.
• Completion of a PeriOp 101 program preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service line instrumentation and equipment purchases.
• Provide service line education to staff.
• Participate in staff interviews.
• Review pick tickets and adjust with CC tech or Charge Auditor.
• Collaborate with vendors and materials management to identify cost reductions.
