Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse Service Line Coordinator (Unit Coordinator) for the Main OR. The nurse will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty and provide clinical leadership for nursing care delivery, under the department manager.

Ideal candidates will have Scrub, Circulation, or Procedural experience in sterile fields.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of acute care RN experience (required).
• Scrub and circulator experience in an OR.
• PeriOp 101 program completion preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service line instruments and equipment purchase needs.
• Provide service line education and support staff interviews.
• Ensure rooms are prepared for the day and review surgical schedule for conflicts.
• Collaborate with vendors and materials management to optimize costs.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives under department leadership.
