Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a materials management team member to oversee inventory, charge capture, and cost containment for the Operating Room. You will interact with vendors, manage stock levels, and assist with billing accuracy to ensure smooth OR operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining KanBan systems, coordinating with departments, and supporting room turnover and front desk duties as needed. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, with strong accuracy and teamwork skills.

Formación

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years in a health care setting preferred.
• Ability to work with software applications and spreadsheet databases.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage department inventory and anticipate outdated stock.
• Respond to back orders and vendor concerns.
• Review charge systems and identify variances for general ledger.
• Maintain KanBan supply system and stock levels.
• Initiate and process supplier returns for credit.
• Assist with annual physical inventory counts.
• Support room turnover and front desk tasks as needed.
