Job summary

Surgical Solutions, a healthcare solutions company serving hospital operating rooms and sterile processing, seeks an OR support specialist to ensure seamless perioperative care. You will set up and monitor equipment, anticipate staff needs, and maintain instrument integrity in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 2–5 years of customer service experience, reliability, and the ability to work 24/7 on a rotating schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, in New York.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification preferred; obtain within 120 days if applicable.
• Certified Surgical Technician credential is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set a high standard of performance for staff and peers.
• Understand surgical procedures and anticipate the needs of staff and surgeons to ensure exceptional service.
• Pre-Operative Setup: Confirm all video and surgical equipment is fully functional; arrange monitors and equipment per surgeon preferences.
• Intra-Operative Support: Verify proper connection and operation of all necessary equipment; address supply needs promptly.
• Post-Operative Turnover: Collect and inventory instruments and equipment for cleaning and sterilization.
