Job summary

Surgical Solutions is seeking an OR/Sterile Processing Technician for our Jamaica, NY area. The role supports operating rooms and sterile processing, ensuring equipment is ready and compliant with decontamination and sterilization standards.

The position requires 2–5 years of face-to-face customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and CRCST or Surgical Tech certification preferred (CRCST within 120 days may be required). On-site, with 24/7 shift availability and vaccination required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or Certified Surgical Technician preferred; CRCST within 120 days may be required by accounts.
• 2–5 years of face-to-face customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR support roles and ensure readiness of equipment.
• Set up and configure video and surgical monitors per surgeon preferences.
• Provide intra-operative support and address supply needs promptly.
• Manage instrument decontamination, inspection, wrapping and sterilization.
• Keep surgeon preference cards current and accurate.
• Be available for 24/7 rotations including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
