Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital seeks a Sterile Processing liaison to bridge SPD and OR, anticipating needs to support surgeon satisfaction and safe, efficient case completion.

Role emphasizes problem-solving and critical thinking to improve interdepartmental communication and patient care in a fast-paced perioperative setting. CSPDT within one year is required; HS diploma/SPD training preferred.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required and SPD/OR program completion preferred.
• 5 years' SPD or OR experience may substitute formal training.
• CSPDT certification expected within one year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Foster a close working relationship between Sterile Processing and the OR.
• Anticipate needs and bridge gaps to ensure surgeon satisfaction and patient safety.
• Enhance interdepartmental communication and case throughput through problem solving.
